The Rim Riders

The World's Fastest Racing Circuit

A pictoral and written history of the Central States Racing Association based in Dayton, Ohio. The club was started in 1935, and by 1940 they were challenging the AAA as the biggest racing organization. They used the nickname of the world's fastest racing association. The high banked tracks at Winchester Indiana, Fort Wayne Indiana, Dayton Ohio, Greenville Ohio and Sharon Pennsylvania were indeed America's fastest.

In 1941 the CSRA absorbed the famous Hankinson circuit on the east coast, making the group the number one sanctioning body in America. The CSRA champions included "Red" Campbell, Everett Saylor, Joie Chitwood, Ted Horn, Jimmie Wilburn, Sid Bufkin and Don Carr.

The foreword was written from tapes recorded by Dave Argabright, when CSRA IMCA star Bobby Grim Was alive. 250 pages, high quality hard bound book with many color photos. Over 500 photos and articles, plus complete statistics.
